FOOD SAFETY CERTIFIED!

22 January 2015

Bali, 28 July 2015 – Following its success in 2011 to be named the first HACCP-certified on the island, Holiday Inn Resort® Baruna Bali is pleased to announce the renewal of its HACCP certification, which strengthens the resort’s ongoing Food Safety Management System.

The HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point) is widely recognized by scientific authorities and international organizations as the most effective approach for food production safety. It is a process control system designed to identify and prevent microbial and other hazards in food production. The system takes steps to prevent problems before they occur and to correct deviations as soon as they are detected.

In order to obtain the certification, Holiday Inn Resort® Baruna Bali went through a detailed analysis and audit process of various food procedures from procurement, storage and handling of food products to processing, cooking, distribution and consumption conducted by a German-based accreditation body, PT. TUV Nord Indonesia.

The acquirement of this certificate is another step the resort has taken to prove its commitment to offering the best to our guests while conducting business in a responsible way.
